Thami Mazwai Professor in Entrepreneurship

Dr. Thami Mazwai is Special Advisor to the Minister of Small Business Development. He is Adjunct Professor in Entrepreneurship at the University of the Western Cape and the University of Fort Hare. He is a Resident Executive at the Wits Business School. Currently, he heads a Task Team on township and rural economies for the National Planning Commission and a Task Team on the review of small business strategies. He is a pro-liberation activist who, like many others, suffered harassment at hands of apartheid security police. A doyen of journalism, Mazwai is the former Founder Chairperson of the South African National Editors Forum.
